Digital Smile Academy is a leading clinic for implantology and prosthesis in Croatia, which was created by Doctor Marko Vukić after many years of experience. His vision of building the new concept in dentistry, where continuous professional education meets the highest standards of treatments, arises from 25 years of experience in private practice and more than 60 000 patients who were treated by doctor Vukić and his team which shares his vision and turns it into a reality.

Why Digital Smile Academy?

Because everyone in Digital Smile Academy strives for perfection, we base all cases on the concept of Digital Smile Design. DSD is a modern procedure of planning dental rehabilitation which enables the therapist to prepare the process thoroughly, and a patient can have a real insight into what we are going to achieve by creating prosthesis work. This is digital smile design according to which we create a provisionary look of patient's new smile.

Diagnostics

In our clinic, we fully commit to every patient, and we make a unique, precise therapy plan for each patient. That is why everything starts with getting a complete picture and insight into patient's dental health. When the patient arrives in our clinic, to gain the most accurate insight into his dental health, we do a variety of diagnostic procedures where a good X-ray is one of the essential elements in the diagnostic procedure. 3D X-ray is a foundation of planning the treatment when a condition requires so. CT which we have in the clinic allows us to make high-resolution scans with minimal radiation.

Photo Studio

When a patient comes to Digital Smile Academy, the first step in his journey is a photo studio. Patients are often surprised because they expect to arrive at the clinic for a check-up, but they come to the professional photographer. For many of them, this is the first encounter with a professional photographer. When they ask why this is so, we explain it simply. Foundation of planning the therapy is professional photography and professional video because the movements that we notice in the photograph and video remove all the masks that patients have created during the time. This gives us something we strive for - real, honest emotion on patient's face as well as preparation for new photographs and videos when a patient sees his new smile for the first time.

Florin Cofar

DMD

Advanced course: Smile design, Veneers, crowns, SKYN

Florin Cofar graduated in 2007 (UMFT Victor Babes – Timisoara). He had his postgraduation on NYU College of dentistry and finished Harvard Business School. He is an international lecturer on dental aesthetics, digital dentistry, and smile design. He teaches in over 30 countries, including prestige academies such as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, SBOE – Brazilian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, CIDAE or BACD – British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Edson da Silva

CDT., DDS

Edson da Silva has graduated in Sao Paolo, Brazil from "Bandeirante University" as a dental technician. He is the owner of the private dental laboratory "Es Premium Lab" in Sao Paolo and Lisbon. He works with leading world experts in dentistry such as Florin Cofar, Marcel Calamit, Christian Coachman and Eric Van Dooren.

He graduated in dentistry which makes him unique in the field of dentistry.

Ciprian “Cipa”

VIDEO SPECIALIST

Ciprian Boca is a passionate filmmaker whose signature can be found in TV commercials, music videos, and corporate short films. He has directed and produced with many well-known names of the international dental elite. He is an official lecturer on videography and photography on SKYN courses in Brazil. He presents his vision of art, photography, and video in course called "Esthetics Through The Lens" in countries around the world such as Brazil, Romania, Czech Republic, Spain, Taiwan, and Croatia; he has become one of the most successful young international lecturers.
